Events and Impact

Eden Centers for Hope & Healing of Charlottesville is honored to receive the University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics Community Partnership Grant in support of our mission to strengthen the community's response to human trafficking and complex trauma.

This grant will help launch Phase 1 of our healthcare-linked initiatives by supporting:

• Human trafficking education and training for healthcare professionals and community partners,

• Development of our Complex Trauma Care Navigator Program to improve coordinated, survivor-centered care,

• Resources that strengthen collaboration among healthcare providers, community organizations, and anti-trafficking partners,

• Direct support for survivors through referrals, emergency needs, and essential resources,

We are deeply grateful to the University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics for investing in this collaborative effort. Their support will help build a stronger, trauma-informed network of care for adolescents and young adults who have experienced exploitation while laying the foundation for future expansion of Eden-CHO's services in Central Virginia.

Together, we are working toward a community where survivors are identified sooner, connected to compassionate care, and supported on their path to healing.
